Build steps

Hover a step to light it up on the board; click it to tick it off (the ticks are saved with the project). Hover a hole to see what goes in it; click a part, a wire or a hole for more (its connection lights up, and you can change its wire colour); double-click a part to turn it. A square lead is pin 1, a cathode or + leg.

Printed circuit board Shows your circuit as a PCB: each part's footprint, and copper tracks for every connection — orange on the top layer, blue on the bottom, joined by a via where a track changes side. It is built from your schematic; drag parts to rearrange them and the tracks follow. Microcontroller puts the dev board on female headers, soldered flat without them, or its bare chip (with the parts it needs). It is always open, but best done last: until the breadboard is built and the code tested in the simulator, a tip above the board says what is left.

Board pins used

3D-printable case A box and a lid made to measure for your PCB, with the board inside it. Change its sizes and openings on the right; add your own shapes from the left (as in Tinkercad): a solid adds plastic, a hole cuts it away — drag a shape to move it, the white squares to size it, the black cone to lift it, the blue dot to turn it. Does it fit? checks every part against the walls, the lid, the floor and your shapes (a problem is marked in red: click it to look at it). Then download it to print.
